1. For the base, break the wafers into crumbs.
2. Melt the butter and add to the crumbs.
3. Press the crumb mixture into a 23 cm pie dish. Place in the refrigerator to chill.
4. For the filling: Mix together the mascarpone with the cranberry sauce, reserving a few cranberries for decoration.
5. Pour the cranberry mixture into the pie dish.
6. Place in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
7. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
8. Decorate with swirls of creme fraiche and reserved cranberries.
