1 litre (2 pt) China tea
450 g (1 lb) sugar
juice of 6 lemons
1 bottle burgundy
1 bottle hock
1 bottle rum
1 bottle maraschino
1 bottle champagne or other sparkling white wine
method
1. Allow the tea to infuse for 10 minutes and strain it over the sugar in a bowl.
2. Add the lemon juice and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
3. Before serving, add the remaining ingredients, all chilled in the bottle.
