method
1. Bake the potatoes in a preheated moderately hot oven 200°C (400°F) Gas Mark 6 for 1 hour.
2. Cut a slice from the wide part of each potato and hollow out.
3. Wrap each kidney in a bacon rasher and place in the potatoes.
4. Add salt and pepper, then replace the 'tops'.
5. Wrap the potatoes individually in foil and bake for a further 1 hour.
