Irish Potato Cakes

ingredients

2 Cups (200 g) of self raising (self rising) flour
1 1/2 cups (500 g) of mashed potato
1/4 cup (65 ml) of milk
2 heaped tablespoons of butter or fat
Salt

method

1. Mix butter or fat into flour

2. Add salt to taste

3. Mix in mashed potato and milk to make a soft dough

4. Roll out on a floured table

5. Cut into cakes

6. Bake in hot oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

7. Eat hot with butter
