1. Heat the oven to gas mark 4 (180°C) 350°F.
2. Beat the butter to a cream and beat in the 125 g (1/4 lb) or 3/8 cup honey.
3. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cinnamon and beat it into the butter, alternately with the eggs.
4. Thickly butter the tin (pan) and pour the 45 ml (3 tbls) honey evenly into the bottom.
5. Scatter in the hazelnuts and sesame seeds.
6. Put in the cake mixture and smooth the top.
7. Bake the cake for 25 minutes.
8. Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool.
9. Cut it into slices and carefully lift them out with a spatula.
10. Put them on a plate, nutty side up.
11. Cooking time: 45 minutes, plus extra for cooling
