method
1. Put the rice and stock in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
2. Cover and simmer gently until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
3. Meanwhile, heat the oil in another saucepan and fry the bacon, onion and green pepper until the onion is softened.
4. Stir in the tomatoes, chicken, sausage or frankfurter slices, salt and pepper.
5. Add the rice, mix well and cook for a further 10 minutes.
