175 g (6 oz) seedless raisins rose wine
3 dessert apples, cored and diced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 medium cabbage, cored and shredded
scant 1/2 (us) cup (100 ml) mayonnaise
salt pepper
method
1. Put the raisins in a bowl and cover with wine.
2. Leave for several hours or overnight.
3. Toss the apples with the lemon juice, then add the cabbage, raisins and wine.
4. Add the mayonnaise, salt and pepper and toss together well.
