Turkey Roll

ingredients

serves 6 - 7
350 g (12 oz) cooked turkey meat
8 oz (225 g) cooked ham
1 small onion
pinch of ground mace
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
salt
pepper
2 oz (50 g) fresh breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
browned breadcrumbs

method

1. Mince together the turkey, ham and onion, then mix in the mace, thyme, salt, pepper and fresh breadcrumbs.

2. Bind with the egg. Pack into a greased loaf tin lined with greased greaseproof paper and cover.

3. Steam for 1 hour, Turn out and coat with browned breadcrumbs while still warm.
