ingredients
makes about 150 ml (1/4 pint)
75 ml (5 tbsp) sherry
2 tbsp (30 ml) seedless jam or jelly
lemon juice to taste
method
1. Combine the sherry and jam in a saucepan.
2. Add 75 ml (5 tbsp) water with lemon juice to taste.
3. Bring to the boil and boil for 2 - 3 minutes.
4. Strain, if necessary, before serving in a jug or sauceboat.
