Barbecued Bananas

12 slightly under ripe bananas

method

1. Bury the bananas in their skins in the charcoal embers just outside the hottest part of the fire.

2. Leave for about 5 minutes, until the skins are charred.

3. Remove from the fire with tongs.

4. Serve in a napkin or on a plate with a spoon.

5. Peel back a strip of skin when cool enough to eat.
