4 Pork Chops
1 dessert apple, peeled, cored and grated
50 g Edam cheese, grated
salt and freshly ground black pepper
apple slices, to garnish
250 g cooked rice, to serve
method
1. Trim the fat from the chops and place under a preheated moderate grill for approximately 8 minutes, turning once, until browned.
2. Mix the apple and cheese and season to taste. Place a spoonful of the mixture on top of each chop and return to the grill for 5 minutes, until the cheese melts.
3. Garnish with apple slices and serve with cooked rice.
