1. Pour the cordial into a small saucepan and bring to the boil, then add the fruit and leave to stand for 5 minutes.
2. Cut four pieces of foil, 20 cm x 24 cm. Lay a banana in its skin in the centre of each piece of foil. With a small knife, cut down through the skin and peel back, then make an incision down the centre of the banana.
3. Spoon the fruit mix into the incision of each banana and wrap the foil around the bananas securely.
4. Cook either on a BBQ for the length of time stated by the BBQ instruction booklet or cook for 30 minutes in a preheated oven set at 200°C (400°F) gas mark 6.
