1. Place the cornets on a flat tray or plate and brush the inside of each with melted chocolate and allow to harden.
2. Whisk the dream topping with the milk, according to pack instructions.
3. Lay a few cherries in the base of the cornet and top with custard and dream topping, decorate with a few cherries.
4. Dip the top of a sponge finger into the melted chocolate and stick into the trifle to finish.
5. Serve immediately.
