8 ripe plums, halved and stoned (seeded)
2 tbsp (1 oz) 25 g butter
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
100 g white Cheshire cheese, crumbled

method
1. Place the plums, cut side up in a lightly buttered ovenproof dish.
2. Drizzle over the melted butter and sprinkle over the cinnamon and cheese.
3. Place under a preheated moderate grill for 10 minutes until the cheese is golden.
4. Delicious served warm with creme fraiche.
