1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6.
2. Place the pork loin in a roasting tin, season well. Roast in the preheated oven for 35 minutes per 500 g and 35 minutes extra.
3. Cook the butter beans following the pack instructions, then set to one side.
4. When the pork is cooked, leave to stand in a warm place.
5. 10 minutes before serving, heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the bacon until crisp then add the cabbage. Stir and cook until tender, adding the butter-beans to re-heat.
6. Gently heat the stock and cider, reduce to half the quantity then stir in the cream.
7. Spoon the cabbage and butter beans onto a large warm serving platter. Top with the loin of pork and serve the sauce in a warm jug alongside.
