1. In a bowl, mix together the sausagemeat, onion, sage, apple, mustard, and seasoning until well combined.
2. With floured hands, shape the mixture into 12 small burgers.
3. Heat some oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the burgers for about 10 minutes turning once.
4. Alternatively brush with oil and grill for the same time turning once.
5. While the sausage burgers are cooking, make the sauce. Heat the cranberry sauce, orange zest, juice and cinnamon in a small saucepan until the sauce has melted and the mixture is hot.
6. Drain the burgers and serve with the cranberry sauce.
