500 g pack medium egg noodles in chow mein sauce
2 tsps vegetable oil
1 sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
50 g mange tout, cut in half lengthways
25 g fresh beansprouts
50 g canned water chestnuts
50 g mushrooms, sliced
2 tsp vegetable oil
method
1. Cook the noodles following the pack instructions.
2. Meanwhile heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan and stir-fry the steak for 2 minutes.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir-fry for a further 2-3 minutes.
4. Stir in the strained chow mein noodles and sauce and serve immediately.
