Redcurrant Sauce

ingredients

makes 150 ml
100 g redcurrant jelly
3 tbls port

method

1. Put the jelly and port in a small saucepan and cook over gentle heat until the jelly melts.

2. Serve with game, venison or mutton.

3. Note This sauce can also be served as a sweet sauce with hot milk or steamed puddings.
