1. Beat molasses, honey and egg until well blended.
2. Stir in buttermilk and oil.
3. Combine flour, bran, brown sugar, soda and salt before adding to buttermilk mixture.
4. Blend until smooth.
5. Fold in pears and nuts.
6. Pour into greased 9-by-5-by-3-inch loaf pan.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 65 to 70 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.
