1. Halve and stone (pit) the peaches and cut them into quarters.
2. Halve and stone the apricots.
3. Thread the fruit onto four kebab skewers in the order of peach, apricot, 2 peaches, apricot etc, ending with one piece of peach.
4. Lay the kebabs in a dish and baste them with the concentrated apple juice.
5. Preheat the grill (broiler) to high.
6. Lay the kebabs on the hot rack about 8cm (3in) from the heat and cook them for 3 minutes, turning them once.
