Golden Punch

ingredients

serves 20
2 3/4 cups (21 fl oz) 600 ml lemon juice, chilled
2 3/4 cups (21 fl oz) 600 ml orange juice, chilled
2 3/4 cups (21 fl oz) 600 ml cold water
2 cup (400 g) caster sugar (superfine granulated)
6 pt (3.4 L) ginger ale, chilled
fresh orange and lemon slices
fresh mint leaves

method

1. Combine the fruit juices, sugar and water in a large punch bowl.

2. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

3. Just before serving pour the ginger ale down the side of the bowl and stir gently.

4. Float thin slices of fresh orange and lemon and mint leaves on top.
