Chocolate Crackles recipe

ingredients

8 oz (225 g) chocolate dots
1 oz (25 g) golden syrup (substitute light corn syrup)
1/2 stick (2 oz) 50 g butter
2 oz (50 g) cornflakes

method

1. Put the chocolate dots, syrup and butter in a small bowl.

2. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and heat until the ingredients have melted and are well blended.

3. Remove from the heat and fold in the cornflakes, mixing well.

4. Place a spoonful of the mixture into 12 paper cases and leave to set.
