1 1/2 lb (675 g) frozen peas
2 carrots, sliced
8 oz (225 g) shallots, sliced
2 oz (50 g) ham, diced
2 tbsp butter
salt and freshly ground black pepper
chicken or vegetable stock or water
method
1. Put the peas, carrots, shallots and ham in a pan and fry in butter over a very low heat for 12 minutes.
2. Season, add 2 tbsp stock or water and simmer until tender.
