Stir-Fried Beans and Peppers

ingredients

1 lb (450 g) runner beans (green or snap beans)
2 medium-sized green peppers
1 clove garlic
3 tbsp (60 ml) oil
2 tbsp (30 ml) tamari sauce (Shoyu sauce)

method

1. String and slice the beans.

2. Remove stalks and seeds from the peppers and cut the peppers into pieces 5 x 3 cm (1/4 x l in).

3. Finely chop the garlic.

4. Put the oil and garlic into a large frying pan or wok and set them on a high heat.

5. When the garlic begins to sizzle, put in the beans and (bell) peppers and stir them around for 1 1/2 minutes.

6. Add the tamari sauce and stir the vegetables around quickly.

7. Take the pan from the heat and serve the vegetables as soon as possible.
