2 large grapefruit
2 tbsp (1 oz) 25 g softened butter
2 - 4 tbsp (25 - 50 g) brown sugar
1/2 - 1 tsp ground Mixed Spice (All Spice / Pumpkin pie spice)

4 glace or maraschino cherries
method
1. Cut the grapefruit in half crossways and prepare as in the recipe for Grapefruit.
2. Spread the butter over the grapefruit and sprinkle with the sugar and spice.
3. Put under a hot grill for 4 minutes, or in a fairly hot oven at 200°C, Gas 6, for 10 minutes.
4. Decorate with the cherries and serve at once.
