Mixican Pinto Beans with Green Chillies (Frijoles Charms) recipe
ingredients
675 g pinto beans
275 g lardons of bacon
3 chopped fresh chillies
50 ml oil
275 g tomato flesh
50 g chopped coriander
method
1. Soak 675 g pinto beans for 12 hours. Wash, cover with water and simmer for 1 hour. Fry 275 g lardons of bacon and 3 chopped fresh chillies in 50 ml oil, then toss in 275 g tomato flesh and 50 g chopped coriander leaves.
