Jellied Fruit Salad

ingredients

serves 4
1 sachet powdered gelatine
3 tbsps (45 ml) hot water
1 pint (600 ml) apple juice
1 large orange
1 small pear
2 oz (50 g) grapes

method

1. Dissolve 1 sachet powdered gelatine in 3 tbsps (45 ml) hot water and stir into 1 pint (600 ml) apple juice.

2. Peel and segment 1 large orange and 1 small pear. Halve 2 oz (50 g) grapes and remove the pips.

3. Stir the fruit into the apple juice and pour into 4 by 5 fl oz (150 ml) containers. Chill until set firm.
