1. Heat the ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add the wholemilk fudge and cook on medium heat, stirring continuously till light golden.
2. Add the sugar and milk; continue stirring till the sugar dissolves. Keep cooking till the wholemilk fudge becomes a lumpy mass and leaves the sides of the pan.
3. Remove from heat and mix in the green cardamom powder. Grease a flat plate with ghee and transfer the cooked lump on to it. Spread it out with a greased spatula or the back of a serving spoon. Cut into pieces when still hot. Remove from the plate only when it cools.
