Apple Bananas with Rum Mascarpone recipe

The most common varieties of bananas found in supermarkets are usually Cavendish or Williams.
The Apple Banana is firmer and has a slight tang or "bite" to it. This unlike the common varieties which are usually very sweet. Preparation time: 10 min, Cooking time: 8 - 10 min, Cals per serving: 360

method
1. Spoon the mascarpone into a bowl and stir in the sugar and rum. Cover and set aside in a cool place.
2. Barbecue the unpeeled bananas over medium hot coals, or grill for 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently until tender and blackened.
3. Split the bananas open, sprinkle a little chocolate inside each and top with the mascarpone. Sprinkle over the remaining chocolate before serving.
