Vanilla Plombiere

ingredients

serves 6
2 cups (500 ml) vanilla ice cream
2 tbls (50 g) 2 oz almonds
125 ml (4 fl oz) double cream (heavy cream)

method

1. Partially freeze the ice cream for 1 hour.

2. Chop the almonds, whip the cream until semi-stiff, and add both to the ice cream.

3. Continue freezing for 1 1/2 hours.
