1. Flake the tuna and mix together with the onion, soup, cheese, dill, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
2. Pour some of the fish sauce into an ovenproof dish. Add a layer of breadcrumbs, followed by a layer of sauce.
3. Continue layering in this fashion until all the ingredients have been used up. Finish with a layer of breadcrumbs on the top, dot the surface with the butter and bake in a moderately hot oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
4. Serve immediately, garnished with a sprig of dill and accompanied by a green salad.
Cook's Tip
A quick way of 'chopping' spring onions: wash and trim them, then hold them over a bowl and snip them up from green end toward the root.
