method
1. Grease a 23 x 30.5cm (9 x 12 inch) baking tin.
2. Melt the margarine in a nonstick saucepan. Add the sugar, treacle and Mlk.
3. Bring slowly to the boil and simmer for 35-40 minutes, stirring constantly to a temperature of 132°C (270°F), using a sugar thermometer.
4. Pour into the tin. Chill until set, turn out and break into pieces using a toffee hammer or a rolling pin.

makes 1.35 kg (3 lb)

You have no idea how long I have looked for this recipe my aunt used to make this years ago and I love it!!!
