1. In a large bowl, mix together the yoghurt, chilli powder, ginger and garlic pastes, garam masala, salt, colouring and lemon juice.
2. Add the chicken pieces to the yoghurt mixture and mix in well to ensure they are evenly coated.
3. Line a grill pan with aluminium foil and arrange the chicken pieces on this, together with the yoghurt sauce. Preheat the grill to moderate and grill the chicken pieces for about 5 - 6 minutes on each side, brushing with a little oil if necessary, to prevent them burning.
