Cheese and walnut sandwich

ingredients

serves 1
2 thick slices of bread
85 g (3 oz) cheese, thinly sliced
15 g (1/2 oz) walnut pieces
black pepper
half apple, sliced
lettuce, sliced
cucumber, sliced
tomato, sliced

method

1. Spread the bread with butter or low
fat spread.

2. Place the cheese on one slice, sprinkle with walnut pieces and season with black pepper.

3. Top with apple, lettuce, cucumber and tomato slices.

4. Place remaining slice of bread on top.
