This is a marvellous mixture of the leaves and flowers you can grow in your garden or buy.
ingredients
serves 6
2 small bunches lamb's lettuce, leaves separated
few sorrel leaves
1 oak leaf lettuce
1 rougette
2 tsp wine vinegar
2 tbsp sunflower oil
to garnish:
1 mimosa spray, few rose petals, few primroses, few violas
method
1. Wash all the leaves and dry gently. Place in a salad bowl. Beat the vinegar with seasoning, then beat in the oil.
2. Pour over the leaves and toss gently. Arrange on individual plates.
3. Pick off the mimosa from the stalks and garnish the salad with these, the rose petals, primroses and violas.
