15 fl oz (450 ml) hot, freshly made coffee
8 jiggers Italian grappa or marc
2 jiggers brandy
dash anisette
4 fl oz (120 ml) single cream
3 - 4 tbsp caster sugar
1 small piece fresh orange or lemon rind
method
1. Pour the freshly made coffee into an enamelled saucepan with a lip, add all the other ingredients, stir and heat to just below boiling.
