Haricot Beans with Cabbage (Fagioli con le Verze) recipe
ingredients
750 g haricot beans
100 g chopped fennel
50 g chopped onion
200 g shredded cabbage
50 g tomato puree
75 g fried lardons of bacon
2 chopped cloves of crushed garlic
method
1. Cook 750 g haricot beans in water with 100 g chopped fennel, 50 g chopped onion, 200 g shredded cabbage and 50 g tomato puree.
2. When cooked, finish by adding 75 g fried lardons of bacon, 2 chopped cloves of crushed garlic and seasoning.
