Spiced Meat Stuffing

ingredients

225 g chopped onion
75 ml oil
350 g minced beef
600 ml brown stock
seasoning
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
225 ml pomegranate juice
25 g sugar
50 ml lemon juice

method

Golden fry 225 g chopped onion in 75 ml oil, add 350 g minced beef, 600 ml brown stock, seasoning, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp allspice.

Simmer until the liquid has evaporated. Skim off any fat and moisten with 225 ml pomegranate juice, 25 g sugar and 50 ml lemon juice.

Serve with roast pork or veal.
