1. Boil the green gram and lentil in 2 cups water with turmeric powder and salt. Cook until tender. Keep aside.
2. Heat the ghee in a wok (kadhai); add onions, garlic, and cumin seeds. Fry till light brown.
3. Add the tomatoes, coriander powder, and red chilli powder; saute till the tomatoes turn soft. Add this to the cooked green gram mixture. Mix well.
4. Serve hot, garnished with green coriander.
