Kothmir Ni Chutney (Hot garlic, coriander and groundnut chut recipe
ingredients
1/2 cup Garlic (lasan) cloves
1 cup (200 g) 7 oz Groundnuts (moongphalli), unroasted
2 tbsp (12 g) Cumin (jeera) seeds
10 Green chillies
3 tbsp (60 g) 2 oz Sugar
1 Juice of lemon (nimbu)
Salt to taste
10 cups (250 g) 9 oz Green coriander (hara dhaniya), chopped
method
1. Blend all the ingredients together except the green coriander to a smooth paste.
2. Add the green coriander and blend further into a smooth paste.
3. Store in a dry airtight jar, and refrigerate. Stays for up to 10 - 12 days.
