method
1. Boil the mangoes until tender and pulpy.
2. Peel the skins and scrape off the pulp from the seeds. Discard the seeds.
3. Mix the pulp with the water and strain the mixture.
4. Add the sugar, green cardamom powder, and saffron. Mix well.
5. Serve chilled in individual glasses.
Variation: If you do not want a sweet preparation then substitute saffron, green cardamom powder and sugar with roasted, ground cumin seeds and salt.
