1. Mix together the prawns / shrimps, onions, ginger, green chillies, green coriander, salt, lemon juice, breadcrumbs, turmeric powder, black pepper, and egg. Knead well.
2. Divide the mixture into 8 portions and shape them into flat round cutlets.
3. Coat the cutlets in dried breadcrumbs and brush off the excess.
4. Heat the oil in a wok (kadhai) till it starts smoking. Lower the cutlets gently into the oil and fry until golden brown, crisp and cooked through on each side.
5. Serve at once.
