Spiced French Beans (Tumis Pedas Kacang Panjang) recipe
ingredients
100 g chopped shallots
3 cloves of garlic
50 g grated root ginger
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp kapi
50 ml lemon juice
125 ml peanut oil
salt
1 kg French beans
method
1. Blend to a paste 100 g chopped shallots, 3 cloves of garlic, 50 g grated root ginger, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 2 tsp kapi, 50 ml lemon juice, 125 ml peanut oil and salt.
2. Cook the paste for 5 minutes, add 300 ml water and 1 kg French beans. Season with salt, cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes.
