Lightly fry 100 g chopped onion and 225 g chopped mushrooms in 75 ml oil; add 225 g chopped chicken livers and fry until firm, then cool.
Combine with 75 ml cream, 50 g chopped basil, 100 g white breadcrumbs, 2 eggs and seasoning.
Serve with roast game birds.
