Creamy Corn and Smoked Haddock Chowder

Angie
Does the haddock have to be cooked? I know it is smoked, but must I pre-cook it as well? Can I use the frozen kind that comes in the IJ box?

This recipe says that 1/3 cup = 40g and also that 3 cup = 225g. They can't both be correct. Which is it?

Haddock Florentine

I used smoked haddock and added 100g cheddar to the sauce

If you enjoy the subtle flavour of fish you are unlikely to appreciate this recipe! The ingredients tend to "drown" one another.

Haddock and Cucumber Souffle

Laurah
The recipe was too hard to figure out what to do. The directions are too confusing. Does the cucumber cook with the fish in step 1?

Over complicated way of cooking fish and making sauce.why not use the liquid from the fish to make the sauce? easy to do if the fish is cooked in milk.
also needs a vegetable to make a balanced meal,in my opinion eg brocolli, peas to add colour

Information on the pan size would have been helpful but it worked out well! All of the family loved it. Definitely cooked longer than 30 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes and that was with turning the broiler on! Next time, I will turn on the broiler earlier.
