I made this but because im doing slimming world i changed the cream cheese for quark, used 1 racsher of bacon per fish with all fat removed and the only fat i used was fry light spray, IT WAS DELICIOUS, so yummy, i served it with oven roased veg and poured the liquor for the cooked fish dish over the veg 100% free on red!

Best trout recipe that I ever came across! I substituted the chicken stock for white wine and single cream.

Great recipe for stuffing and cooking a large trout

I tried this at home myself, and it was great. The sauce particularly complements the earthy taste of the trout. Cooking time may need to be extended though - I had a slightly bigger fish and ended up cooking it for over an hour.

I did this recipe with whole trout and with fillets and i the fillets came out on top and easyer to eat with the fresh tasting marinade i served it with charlotte potatoes mange tout and baby corn i also added a finger chilli to the advocado dip
